Cone Fenders
Cone fenders are compact fenders compared to cell fenders. At the same height, they have higher energy absorption capacity. This is mainly due to the conical shape, which allows deflection up to 72%.
Cone fenders are also more stable at large compression angles and provide better shear resistance than any other fenders. Like cell fender, cone fender can also be equipped with a front frame with low friction skin pads to reduce shear and hull pressure.
Cone fenders can be installed in single, double or multiple configurations with a common front frame to optimize performance features. These fenders are equipped with long frames to provide greater vertical contact area for ports with large tidal variations.
