Hongruntong Marine manufactures industry-grade Seaguard fenders and a comprehensive range of foam fenders marine, including standard and custom foam filled fenders and foam boat fenders. Designed for marinas, commercial ports, offshore berthing and ship-to-ship operations, our fenders combine closed-cell foam cores, reinforced skins and precision moulding to deliver consistent energy absorption, minimal permanent deformation and excellent environmental resistance.
Key Features & Benefits
Unsinkable & Predictable Performance: closed-cell PE core guarantees constant buoyancy and consistent EA (energy absorption) over time.
Enhanced Structural Strength: continuous nylon filament reinforcement prevents delamination and improves resistance to high local stresses and repeated impacts.
Long Service Life in Harsh Environments: PU outer skin is UV-stabilized and non-marking, resisting abrasion, fouling and chemical exposure.
Low Maintenance: no inflation required; durable materials reduce inspection and repair cycles.
Hull-friendly Protection: non-marking outer surface protects paint and coatings on pleasure and commercial craft.
Customizable Performance: foam density, filament layout and outer skin thickness can be adjusted to meet specific EA, reaction force and deflection targets.
Applications
Quay, pier and marina berthing protection
Ship-to-ship (STS) operations and lightering
Ferry ramps, RO-RO berths and floating pontoons
Offshore platforms, FPSOs and service vessels
Naval and commercial vessel side protection
Construction
Inner core — Closed-cell Polyethylene (PE) foam: provides permanent buoyancy, prevents water ingress and delivers stable, repeatable compression characteristics for energy absorption.
Middle reinforcement — Continuous nylon filament embedded in a polyurethane (PU) skin: a structural reinforcement layer that dramatically increases shear strength, tearing resistance and overall load distribution while preserving flexibility.
Outer wear surface — UV-resistant, non-marking polyurethane: abrasion-resistant outer jacket that resists cutting, oil and saltwater, protects the reinforcement layer, and keeps vessel hulls clean (non-marking).
Fender Structure
There are two types of fender structures available for selection.
