Floating Suction Dredge Hose
Floating suction dredge hoses are an important part of the discharge process for dredging or mining. We offer high performance floating hoses for slurry transport to the shore.
Floating hose assemblies are used in combination with cutter suction dredgers as well as trailing suction hopper dredgers. We offer you standardized as well as custom designed hoses. By floating hose is meant: all items in a floating hose assembly with a length of 11800 mm. This also includes the connection/sinker hose.
Self-floating suction dredge hose system is be used in the major reclamation and dredge waterway in the world. Self-floating hose have a buoyancy layer and it can float on the water by itself. It is easy operation in project. Self-floating suction hose constitute the major part of the self-floating hose pipeline.

Features
● Extremely durable & grind-resistant rubber.
● Tensile Strength ≥ 15 MPa.
● Wear-out ≤ 0.45cm³/1.61km.
● Working Pressure 0.8-3.5 MPa.
● Under working operations status, where sand content of substance is less than 30%, the floating part should be not less than 30% of the hose’s largest tubular outer diameter.
● Strong flexural properties performance.
Similar to other hose products, reinforced / armored floating hoses are preferred for certain projects depending on project requirements. Different types of flanges and/or collars are available, too.
