Floating Umbilical Hose
A floating assembly, grouping together hydraulic and discharge hoses for an easy and safe handling.
Hose assemblies (hydraulic and discharge hoses) are usually tied together and fitted with separate buoys. Handling these hoses is troublesome and entanglement risk is always present.
The Floating Umbilical Hose is an enclosed sleeve that hosts the discharge hoses and a variable number of hydraulic hoses, depending on the pump or skimmer type to drive. The buoyancy can be achieved by either inflatable or solid foam floats.
The Floating Umbilical Hose can be opened to have full access to the hoses inside for inspection, repairing or cleaning. Once these operations are finished, the Floating Umbilical Hose can be closed to be fully operational.
