Hudong Zhonghua delivered the first 15000teu super large container ship to Dafei
On August 27, the 150000teu super large container series bow ship "CMA CGM zephyr" built by Hudong Zhonghua shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. under China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. for France Dafei shipping group was named and delivered in Shanghai.
This is the latest achievement of the comprehensive implementation of the strategic cooperation framework agreement witnessed and signed by the national leaders of China shipbuilding group and France Dafei group in 2019, marking the addition of a new member of the Hercules series super large container ship family of China Shipbuilding and realizing the leadership in the field of global super large container ships.

In March 2019, under the joint testimony of President Xi Jinping and French President Ma long, China Shipping Group and Da Fei Shipping Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Paris and 5 15000TEU dual fuel engines, 5 conventional power 10 large container ships, respectively, which were built by Hudong Zhonghua and Jiangnan Shipbuilding. This series of ships are developed and designed by the 708 Research Institute.
The 15000teu container ship is a new generation of Panama's largest ship type independently developed and designed by the 708 Research Institute. It has been highly praised by the market and can be flexibly arranged on all important routes around the world. It has been classified into Bureau Veritas (BV). The total length is 366M, the profile width is 51m, the container capacity is 15536 boxes, the length is equivalent to the sum of five A380 airliners, the deck area is equivalent to three standard football fields, and the highest place is close to the height of a 24 storey building. There are 22 storeys in the cargo warehouse and deck, which is about the height of a 20 storey building and can hold 1800 refrigerated containers.
China Shipbuilding Group owns the independent intellectual property rights of this series of ships, with a localization rate of 90%. The energy efficiency design index (EEDI) meets the requirements of the latest three stages of international specifications, and has the characteristics and advantages of economy and efficiency, large deadweight and low single tank fuel consumption.
This series of 15000teu container ship includes two ship types: LNG dual fuel propulsion and traditional propulsion. "Dafei · Hefeng" is a conventional propulsion ship type. The traditional propulsion ship type is equipped with desulfurization tower and NOx catalytic reduction system to meet various emission requirements and better adapt to the flexibility of East ship operation; Pneumatic fenders for ships, the LNG dual fuel propulsion ship adopts the two-stroke low-speed dual fuel main engine and low-pressure system developed by wingd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSSC. The LNG storage tank adopts GTT markiii flex membrane tank. The LNG gas system and filling station are comprehensively optimized to meet the good connection with the filling ship. The first ship is being built in Jiangnan Shipbuilding under CSSC.

Good comprehensive performance level: the ship is optimized from multiple dimensions. It not only has large container capacity and low fuel consumption at the contract speed, but also the average power based on the operating profile is lower than that of similar ship types. The energy efficiency design index (EEDI) meets the requirements of the latest three stages of international specifications, and has the advantages of high economic efficiency, large carrying capacity and low fuel consumption per container.
Excellent real container loading capacity: combined with the advanced binding bridge type in the field of container ships, the cargo binding system is deeply optimized. It not only has many stacking and packing positions, but also has large stacking, reasonable stacking weight distribution, excellent actual packing level and simple operation.
Advanced mooring performance: the first super large container ship designed according to the new mooring code in China uses low friction fairlead for the first time, which increases the service life of the cable and effectively improves the safety of wharf mooring.
Leading intelligent design: the innovative split driving console and intelligent navigation berthing design enable the crew to operate the ship more comfortably and intelligently; The new intelligent control system of cargo tank fan is combined with the intelligent switch of cold box power supply system to pneumatic fenders suppliers, achieve more accurate control of cargo tank temperature; Active harmonic control scheme, dynamic, real-time and fast response, effectively suppress the harmonics of the whole ship's power grid under different working conditions, and ensure the safety and reliability of electrical equipment.
CFD auxiliary ventilation design: CFD calculation is used to simulate the ventilation flow field, and the auxiliary system design is carried out in the design stage, so as to achieve the effect of uniform heat dissipation and appropriate air volume and wind speed in the engine room and cargo compartment.
Advanced fire-fighting performance: in order to deal with the fire risk of the container ship, in addition to the traditional fire-fighting equipment, the ship is equipped with long-range water cannon and mobile water cannon, cargo tank water immersion system and hatch cover water spray system to prevent all kinds of fire risks in an all-round way.
Atmospheric environment-friendly: due to the large installed power of super large container ships, the sulfur and nitrogen oxide emission reduction schemes are complex. The traditional propulsion ship type adopts the waste gas washing combination of desulfurization tower and low-pressure denitration, which meets the waste gas emission requirements of tiII in advance and is ahead of similar ship types. The LNG dual fuel propulsion ship reduces the emission of various pneumatic fender sizes, pollutants from the fuel source, which is a milestone model for the future development of the navigation industry.
